What items do I need to make a basic system for my truck?

To outfit a truck with a TracRac system you will need one set of Base Rails and one set of Overhead Racks.

What is the benefit from ordering the full packages available on the website?

Not only will you be receiving base rails and overheads which is everything you need to outfit your truck, you will also be receiving locking key knobs and base track tie downs, and shipping is included.

Is it possible to remove the Overhead Racks without removing the Base Rails?

Yes, it possible to remove the Overheads without removing the Base Rails.

How hard is it to install the TracRac System?

TracRac is one of the easiest systems on the market to install! We have sold 1,000s of systems and have yet to receive a call asking how to install the system.

If I order where does my order ship from and how long will it take?

Your order will ship from one of our Florida warehouses in a matter of 1-2 days. All stock is shipped via UPS and the average transit time for USA orders is about 3-4 days. California residents will experience the longest transit times.

How many mounts come with the package of Kayak Mounts?

The kayak mount package comes with a total of four cradles that will hold one kayak.

Can I use my existing truck box with the TracRac system?

In many cases, yes, however it does depend on the box that you have and an adapter is required to make any aftermarket box fit the TracRac system.

How does the TracVan attach to my van?

This depends on the Van to which it is being attached. Please call for information specific to you vehicle.

What is the difference between the Cantilever Extension and the Industrial Cantilever Extension?

The cantilever extension is an extension that extends over the cab of the truck, to protect the roof of the cab from long loads hitting the roof. The industrial cantilever is a full cantilever that extends from the front bumper to the rear bumper and increases the maximum carrying capacity of the TracRac to 1250lbs.

Will we take Purchase Orders?

In most cases purchase orders are accepted, however, we do reserve the right to refuse a purchase order from any company. Please be sure to include any terms and conditions your company has regarding its PO’s as we will need to have that on file to execute the transaction.

Can you set up a credit account?

Yes, credit accounts can be setup, we require some information before establishing the account and may require a credit card payment of some portion of your initial order, depending on size. Please call 1-866-393-7637 and someone can assist you in setting up your account.

Do we ship to PO Boxes?

We ship UPS or FedEx therefore we cannot ship to a PO Box, we must have an actual physical address.

Is there sales tax on purchases?

On sales inside the state of Florida you there is sales tax. Sales outside the state of Florida there is no sales tax.
